Terms of use
KillChains.com is an information and simulation resource. It is not a weapon system, targeting service, intelligence product, cyber range, legal opinion, or operational decision aid.
Permitted purpose
You may use the public pages and synthetic simulation for education, research literacy, architecture discussion, classroom demonstration, policy analysis, and defensive security training.
Prohibited use
You may not use the site or modify its deployment to plan, optimize, select, rank, locate, track, or attack real people, organizations, systems, infrastructure, military units, or targets. You may not add real coordinates, weapon-design or performance parameters, casualty assumptions, operational attack instructions, live credentials, executable malware, public command-and-control endpoints, or unauthorized cyber-range connections.
No operational or legal reliance
The content is a public-source synthesis with explicit uncertainty. It may be incomplete, outdated, disputed, or inapplicable to a specific system or jurisdiction. Do not use it as the sole basis for a use-of-force decision, weapons review, procurement decision, safety certification, compliance determination, incident response, or legal advice.
Challenge links and result cards
Challenge links reproduce a synthetic scenario identifier and deterministic presentation seed. They are not authentication tokens, predictions, certificates, or evidence of professional qualification. Result cards summarize an educational run and must not be represented as proof of real-world operational effectiveness, legality, or system performance.
Evidence Atlas and saved views
The Evidence Atlas is a public-source publication interface, not a current intelligence picture, targeting map, capability ranking, procurement recommendation, or prediction of combat outcomes. Its map positions are abstract layout values. Evidence labels summarize the public record and do not replace reading the source trail, limitations, unknowns, and review date.
A saved Atlas view is an ordinary URL containing public record and filter state. It is not a signed evidentiary package, immutable citation, or guarantee that the underlying record will never be corrected in a later release. Do not place sensitive or private material in the search query.
Source attribution
External source titles, trademarks, program names, and product names belong to their respective owners. Links are supplied for research and attribution. A link does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or verification beyond the bounded statement described by the site.
Software and third-party components
The release includes original PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and content assembly, and depends on Three.js under its MIT license. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and LICENSE.
Availability and changes
The site is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, device compatibility, or fitness for a particular purpose. Content, source links, scenarios, and code may change in later versioned releases.
Responsible disclosure
Do not test the deployment against third-party systems or use the simulation as a bridge to external targets. Report application security issues through the process in SECURITY.md.
