Nine separations
Each statement has a distinct evidentiary meaning. The lab preserves those differences even when an institutional dashboard would prefer a single reassuring status.
No alert means only that no alert reached the selected record. It does not establish that the monitored condition remained unchanged.
A monitor can be healthy while watching the wrong version, component, dependency, interface, or operating envelope.
Monitoring a component does not establish coverage of every upstream source or downstream dependency that can change its behavior.
An alert-delivery receipt does not establish that a competent person reviewed the underlying evidence.
Review does not establish regression until independent evidence supports the bounded conclusion.
A muted, deduplicated, or suppressed alert is not evidence that the underlying condition was absent.
A running monitor compared with a stale baseline can report normal operation while the system has materially changed.
Coverage is not factual truth. It shows what can be observed but does not prove that every observation or inference is correct.
